Project Reflection

If I could do this project over again, there are a few things that I would have done differently. In the process of gathering sources for this specific project, I would not have changed anything because the information coming directly from the Liberty website is the most accurate. However, when it came to the actual interview process, there are some things that I would do differently next time.

For this specific research topic, I found it difficult to come up with 15 unique questions. I felt that some of my questions asked the same thing but were just phrased differently. In future projects, I will try to take more time and think about more unique questions to ask.

During the interview, I felt like my note-taking was rushed because I didn't want there to be too much silence in between questions. I wrote down the main details that Professor Milks was sharing with me, but I definitely could have written down more details. It also felt slower because I was writing my notes by hand instead of typing them.

The main idea that I gathered from the interview was how much Liberty’s campus has changed over the past couple years. She shared with me what the campus used to look like when she was a student and said it felt like a whole different school back then. The angle I would take with this story is how much architecture can change the atmosphere of a campus, and how it affects the students directly.

I did not have any technology issues during the research and interview process. Overall, this project went very smoothly and I learned a lot about Liberty’s campus and history. I sent an email to Chelsea Milks as a thank you for her time for the interview.
