YouTube Stole my Hours Watch Time

I need 4K watch hours to get monetized, and I have 3.6K, so I’m getting close. Yesterday, I checked how to apply to get into the YouTube Partner Program (I wanted to be ready for D-day). That’s when YouTube dropped the news: I have 3.2K watch hours watch time, not 3.6K

Wait, what? I was confused.

I deleted some videos a while ago, so maybe the hours of these videos are still counted in my analytics. But when I checked the monetization section of my channel, it seemed they removed the hours of the videos I deleted. That would explain why my 3.6K watch hours are, in fact, 3.2K.

So I have to work more to reach 4K watch hours. In a previous article, I explained I would post two videos per week to reach monetization. Then I got lazy and procrastinated. But now is the time to punch procrastination in the face and get that 4K watch hours real quick. I’ll let you know once it’s done.
