Fieldwork: What is Coffee at NYU Abu Dhabi

Go out and ethnographically explore coffee at NYU Abu Dhabi. You will be in three teams. One team will explore Blacksmith, another team will explore the Starbucks’ locations, and a third will explore coffee beyond either of these locations.

As a team, remember to use all of your senses: what you see, hear, what you notice, and what you realize was hard to notice. Your goal is to discover and analyze ‘what is coffee at NYU Abu Dhabi’.

You may also “interview” and discuss with each other about experiences you had in the location, as well as speak to customers and staff (without bothering them).
