We have all grown up seeing the old classy advertisements, a problem is shown in the ad, the person cries about it and a someone miraculously suggests a product that is heavenly.
Then we saw some ads with catchy tunes, even if we didn’t buy the products, we surely once in a while, tacked our foot to those tunes. The “ting-ting-tiding” of Britannia Treat, “I’m Loving It” of McDonald’s, “Give me a break” of KitKat and the famous “G mane Genius” of Parle-G. All of them are the good preserved memories of our childhood.
Memes are now almost an inseparable part of our lives. Our information in many cases travel through those, companies hit their competitors with these, you might even impress some with those!!
Marketing has always been like a flow, times change and so do their ways. With the Digital being more attractive and effective these days, creativity tends to approach to its level best to attract more audience. They are also a more trending way to get into discussions.Who doesn’t like a soft cake every now and then. Memes serve a perfect purpose to this, targeting audience on social media platforms.
So unless you’re in a third galaxy and do not like memes, they would definitely serve the purpose of both marketing and the social cause of making people happy.
Also, it is really important to use simple and basic memes rather than dark and dank. Because some memes might offend a particular group or set of people and may cause negative publicity.
