Patience and doing unfeedbackful work

There are some goals that I had deemed difficult or impossible years ago. I gave them up long before I viscerally understood the inevitability of small steps. Sure, not only is it not going to be done in a week or two, it will only start revealing glimpses of progress after maybe 6 months. But only if small steps are taken consistently in that time. It is almost like doing work without expecting results. Attacking a task with full power and not giving up when you get zero results.

I need to reevaluate old goals through the lens of patience.
