My Goals for the Zuri Internship Program

I came across the Zuri internship program through one of my connections on Linkedin. I frequently follow and read up this connection's post because of the value I get from his post. He is a UI/UX designer and he gives a lot of value to UI/UX design in his post.

In one of these posts, he talked about how the Zuri internship had helped him become really good at UI/UX designing and he wouldn’t have been able to achieve some of the feats he had achieved in the field without the Zuri internship program.

On seeing this I immediately Google searched “Zuri Internship”, I visited their website and sign up for the upcoming cohort which I’m currently a part of now. I’m quite excited to be a part of the program. I put in for the UI/UX track and yesterday I was among the few that were promoted to the next stage after my first design task was accessed and graded.

Now, as an intern of this ongoing cohort, my goal for the program is first to be among those that make it to the end of the program and wins a t-shirt. More seriously, through the program, I want to learn and develop myself more in UI/UX design and make new friends with other designers.

Also, with the UI/UX design, I also want to develop myself more in front-end development, I have started learning on my own, I know with the Zuri internship I will surely get better at it.

So, at the end of the 8 weeks program, I want to be a better UI/UX designer and front-end developer. Here are links to some of the beginner tutorials I had used to get started.
